Just when you thought another another Skylanders Hot Dog napkin was not possible: this is Ansel's request for a Hot Dog / Wrecking Ball hybrid. This one was based loosely on the Swap Force idea of mixing two characters, although these two do not lend themselves to being cut in half horizontally, and I started the drawing long after midnight when any reasonable person would have already been in bed, so I can't say I am particularly proud of the results.
Napkins drawn by Nina Levy for her sons. Daily for 10 years. Now that the kids eat in the school cafeteria: merely occasionally, not daily, but we are stuck with the name.

Ben 10 of Omniverse and Skylanders Wrecking Ball

I realized a day later, much to my horror, that I had neglected to draw the all important Omnitrix on Ben's arm. Strangely, neither of my child critics caught the lapse.

Birthday Cake with Swampfire, Wrecking Ball and Dragonvale Sun Dragon
Wrecking Ball Shirt
A detail of the shirt without the child. There was some debate this morning about whether Wrecking Ball's teeth should have been longer... depends which series he is from perhaps? But I had come to the conclusion that the tongue was already pushing it a bit for Quaker Kindergarten wear, so I decided to downplay the teeth.

Skylanders Wrecking Ball Cupcakes
Apparently cupcakes are more challenging for me than napkins. My assignment was something in the neighborhood of 30 Skylanders Wrecking Ball cupcakes for the observance of our Kindergartener's birthday at school snack time this week. He was not overly impressed with my application of frosting, pointing out that there was a lot of variation in the facial features.

Ben 10's Cannonbolt and Skylanders Wrecking Ball
Another Ben 10 and Skylanders team-up: Cannonbolt and Wrecking Ball. Both roll and have pointy teeth, but the Skylander in particular seems uncertain about the situation.

Skylanders Wrecking Ball and Drobot
Apparently, at school recess, my younger son
pretends to be the creature on the left, and his best friend is the one
on the right. I don't want to ask what he is doing to act out the
tongue attack.....

Skylanders Wrecking Ball
Ansel requested another Skylander character. Perhaps his older brother's campaign to get Ansel to play the game with him is beginning to work.
