Perry, Groot and Rocket:

Perry the Platypus from "Phineas and Ferb" usurps Rocket's shoulder spot.
Maybe this Disney corporate crossover thing might lead to some conflict?.

The Disney Infinity game got us talking about the potential for ridiculous team-ups from the greatly expanded Disney roster. (Or ridiculous death matches, if we are not thinking about a napkin for a Quaker student lunch...)  Ansel did not appreciate any of my suggestions along the lines of "Jiminy Cricket and Darth Vader" ("How do you expect to be a real boy if you don't listen to your conscience?") or "Bambi Meets the Hulk".... ("Hulk smash girly deer!")

He accepted the Perry, Groot and Rocket image this morning.  Perhaps he was just relieved that I had not drawn something like "Snow White visits Jabba the Hut."

Jack and the Beanstalk and Milky White, Secret Agent

Ansel has been suffering from stomach distress at bedtime lately, so I resorted to a long, meandering recounting of Jack and The Beanstalk while trying to induce sleep last night.

Our version of the story seemed to be much about the cow.  Milky White started out sitting in the living room on her own couch, watching daytime talk shows on television.  At Archer's urging, she reappeared at the end, wearing a "Perry the Platypus" style secret agent fedora, and rescuing Jack from the nasty giant by cutting the beanstalk down with a laser.

Ansel was not much impressed with the napkin this morning.  Perhaps I hallucinated the whole thing in my sleep deprived haze last night.

Meap for Ansel

Meap from Phineas And Ferb- always a reliable choice to fill the need for cuteness and fighting. Although Ansel pointed out that I had made his legs too skinny and therefore diminished his cuteness.

Perry the Dragon for Ansel

After one look at this strange neuter platypus/dragon muscleman and both of my sons exclaimed, "I am SO him!"
